SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed with regard to the superior range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out here to some superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA status sassa services.

“This is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office focused on service the area daily. The service stage designed for intervention ordeals a high inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it complicated with the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional methods to empower the servicing of all shoppers and raise use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
